ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Marta and I'm a 26-year-old girl with big dreams and a big personality!
I've always had creative blood, from drawing to sewing. I've always found it fascinating to create something from nothing and watch it grow due to your efforts. So, when it was time to choose my degree, it was fairly easy because I had a mutual love for creativity and economics. So, Marketing it was, and not a single day goes by when I regret my decision. Marketing fulfilled me in every aspect, I studied this field for three magical years where I fell in love with how intricate Marketing can be, there's so much to it and so many different areas that use Marketing as a cornerstone to grow and improve in this cutthroat market. Touching on such a broad range of subjects, I felt the need to deepen my studies and focus on a particular area of Marketing. In 2016 I was accepted in the University of Minho to take my master’s degree in Science Communication focusing on Advertising and Public Relations, which I finished upon defending my thesis on non-other than Friday the 13th. It made me reconnect with my creative side which has been with me since I can remember. You know when you're young and collect posters of celebrities, not me. I was the weirdo who saved ads from the newspaper and had a hard drive full of ad campaigns and videos. It's my passion and I did everything I could to follow it. It's a hard market to get into because proving you're creative it´s one the hardest things to do. But it's possible, and I hope that with this short life story combined with my academic and professional achievements, it's enough to prove that I'm an asset for this project and worthy of the challenge you’re offering.
